Due to the advice from the Government regarding COVID-19, social distancing and working from home we are cancelling all of our safeguarding courses until the end of April and we will review on a monthly basis.

The Safeguarding Partners currently offer classroom based seminars focused on safeguarding topics.
Our learning and development programme is for people who work, volunteer or who are in regular contact with children, young people and families.
All our classroom training is monitored and evaluated to ensure that participants receive the best possible training for to improve their practice and the outcomes for children they work with.
Lessons learnt from Serious Safeguarding Practice Reviews is be included as part of the content.
Our multi agency safeguarding classroom based learning courses for free.
Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before the start time for registration.
Participants arriving more than 20 minutes late cause disruption to the course and will not be admitted.
In addition, all participants are expected to stay until the end of the course. Participants should not arrive at a course without previously booking a place.
Please note that we do not offer refreshments or lunch on any of our free courses.
Once you have completed the course and your attendance is marked on the system, you will receive an email prompting you to complete your evaluation form.
You will have access to your certificate of attendance once you submit your evaluation form.
NOTE: Certificates will only be issued if the participant attends the full training session. If you leave early the facilitator may not provide you with a certificate.
If you are disabled, we want to make sure that you have all the necessary equipment and support to enjoy the day. Please note this on the note to trainer at point of booking so that we can make arrangements.
Course places are in high demand; if you are unable to attend it is vital that you log into our learning website and cancel your booking so that someone can have the opportunity to book.
We have very high demand for places and non-attendance without advance notice means that we are unable to offer places to others. Failure to advise of your non-attendance may jeopardise any future places on LSCB courses and you may incur a fee.
All our courses are offered through our online booking system and you are individually responsible for managing your own bookings and cancellations.
